Caitlin Clark was officially named the WNBA Rookie of the Year.

But it wasn’t unanimous.

The Indiana Fever star received 66 of 67 first-place votes from the electorate.

The Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese, Clark’s rival since the pair’s college days, received the other first-place vote.

“I am incredibly honored to be named Rookie of the Year, but more than that, I am grateful to everyone that supported me throughout this past season – my family and friends, my teammates, the Fever organization and everyone that cheered us on all season. I am so proud of what we accomplished and so excited for what the future holds,” Clark said, according to a press release from the Fever.

Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds for Indiana, who finished 20-20 and made the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons.
