Tight end Tyler Warren has developed into a favorite of Penn State quarterback Drew Allar.
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound senior has at least six receptions in six of his last seven games, vaulting him into the conversation as a potential first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Warren and Allar will get a tough test in the top-ranked Oregon Ducks in the Big Ten Championship game Saturday, but the latter is going to need a reliable pass catcher in what should be a thrilling matchup.
The Ducks are allowing just 5.8 yards per attempt, which is eighth-best in the country, so expecting a big day through the air is probably foolish.
Allar is going to have to throw the ball to someone though.
Oddsmakers are apparently pricing in Oregon’s stout pass defense, putting Warren’s receptions Over/Under at 5.5.
Oregon enters this matchup as slight favorites against the third-ranked Nittany Lions.

As mentioned, he’s gone over this number in all but one of his last seven games, but it’s been against some of the best pass defenses in the country.
Against Washington, who’s allowed even fewer passing yards than Oregon this season, Warren had eight catches in a 35-6 home win.

He had seven receptions against Wisconsin, which ranks in the top 15 in passing yards allowed.
Warren added eight catches against Minnesota, who rank right behind Wisconsin.
While the Nittany Lions likely won’t explode offensively on Saturday, Warren should put up yet another solid game.
