The Soundcore Sport X20 earbuds have features typically associated with much more expensive earbuds, including customizable EQ and robust active noise-canceling (ANC). The IP68 rating makes them dust and waterproof, meaning they can withstand your toughest, sweatiest workouts.
Where the Soundcore X20 earbuds stand out is comfort; the ear hooks are made from flexible silicone, rather than stiff plastic. Wearing them, I found they didn’t exert excess pressure behind the ear, unlike some earbuds, making them easy to wear for extended periods (and making them one of our favorite earbuds with ear hooks).
True to Anker’s reputation for making some of the best portable chargers, the Soundcore X20 has good battery life, with up to 12 hours of listening and 48 with the case (though battery life drops to 7 hours with the ANC turned on). A single physical button on each earbud controls playback and phone calls, and the controls can be customized in the app.

Unsurprisingly, there are some trade-offs at this price point. The sound quality isn’t as impressive as Beats and the ANC isn’t as powerful as Bose, but for less than half the price of those brand’s top offerings, you get a pair of workout-ready ANC earbuds with long battery life and all-day comfort, plus Soundcore’s dependable, feature-rich app.
