According to a publication, Matthew Livelsberger’s second wife Jennifer Anne Davis ended their marriage just days before he detonated a Tesla Cybertruck outside of President-elect Donald Trump’s hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday
According to the New York Post, which cited anonymous law enforcement sources, Matthew Livelsberger left his Colorado Springs home the day after Christmas following an argument with his second wife, who was thought to be Jennifer Anne Davis, who accused him of adultery. This took place six days before Matthew blew up the Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas.

Livelsberger was divorced from his first wife, remarried and had an 8-month-old daughter with his second wife and she continued to live in Colorado Springs and he traveled back and forth from Germany.
This development may indicate that the bombing had a personal motive as authorities investigate whether it was a terror strike or a politically motivated explosion.
On July 8, 2022, Matthew Livelsberger and Jennifer Anne Davis who is from Seattle, Washington as per her Facebook profile filed for marriage in El Paso County, Colorado, according to court documents.

Photos discovered by the Post on a Facebook account thought to belong to Livelsberger but using the false name Matt Berg show that Livelsberger and Davis had a newborn, eight month old daughter together. After the explosion, Livelsberger was discovered dead inside the Cybertruck, and authorities think he shot himself in the head before the rear of the vehicle caught fire.
He was previously married to Sara, his first wife and a Facebook profile for Sara Livelsberger is circulating on social media. The account for Sara Livelsberger makes references to Matthew Livelsberger, who she refers to as her husband. Sara began divorce proceedings in July 2017 with the split finalised a year later. Sara is now settled in South Florida with her second husband.
Filings from the Franklin County Probate Court in Ohio show that age 37 US Army Green Beret Matthew Alan Livelsberger and Sara Elizabeth Wilson were issued a wedding license on December 3, 2012 and court records also show that a marriage application was filed in El Paso County, Colorado, on July 8, 2022, for Livelsberger and his second wife Jennifer Anne Davis.
A firearm was discovered at Livelsberger’s feet, according to Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill. To ascertain whether the occurrence was an act of terrorism and whether there was a connection between the Las Vegas blast and the New Orleans attack that occurred hours earlier, the FBI is still investigating the bombing.

Livelsberger was a member of the same U.S. Army base as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the veteran authorities suspect crashed into crowds and murdered 15 people in New Orleans on New Year’s Day. According to Sheriff McMahill, both served in Afghanistan in 2009 and at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
The sheriff said, “We don’t have any evidence that they were in the same province, the same location or the same unit, again something else that remains under investigation.”

Investigation
According to the Las Vegas Police Department, the event is still under investigation. The FBI’s involvement in the inquiry has also been confirmed by Jeremy Schwartz, the acting FBI special agent in charge of the Las Vegas office.
