Upon embracing celibacy and ascetic vows, he was initially named Anandswaroop Brahmachari and later accepted the Mahavakya, taking the name Swami Anandashram.

In 2016, Premanand Maharaj founded the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Trust in Vrindavan, a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of society. The Trust provides essential services such as lodging, food, clothing, medical care, and other necessities for pilgrims visiting Vrindavan Dham, reflecting Premanand’s commitment to both spiritual and social upliftment.
