Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that 53-year-old interior designer, Anne, got scammed of €830,000 from a scammer who used AI generated video of Brad Pitt in Tignes.
Anne, a 53-year-old interior designer, was the victim of a romantic scam of incredible proportions. In the show Sept à Huit on TF1, she told how a man pretending to be Brad Pitt took the astronomical sum of 830,000 euros from her. After registering on Instagram, she was contacted by a fake account of “Jane Etta Pitt”, allegedly the actor’s mother. The next day, a so-called Brad Pitt account sent him a message: “My mother told me a lot about you.” “I am amazed. At first, I tell myself that it’s fake, but I don’t understand what’s happening to me,” says Anne. An epistolary relationship is quickly established. “He knew how to talk to women, it was always very well written. I loved the man I was conversing with.”
The so-called Brad Pitt sends her poems, statements and even an artificial intelligence-generated video to reassure Anne. A few days later, he asked her to marry him. But quickly, the financial scam begins: he first demands €9,000 from her to supposedly pay customs fees for luxury gifts he would like to give her.
Anne goes so far as to divorce her husband and collect a compensatory payment of €775,000. The scammer asks him for this amount, claiming to have kidney cancer and blocked accounts due to his divorce from Angelina Jolie. “It costs me to do it, but I tell myself that maybe I will save a man’s life,” she confides.
