Information reaching Kossyderrickent has it that Journalist Dr Indira Alejandra Gallegos has committed suicide after she injected herself with overdose of fentanyl in her apartment in Tlatelolco.
Indira Gallegos Zepeda, a doctor originally from Chihuahua and a third-year resident at the Siglo XXI National Medical Center, was found dead in Mexico City (CDMX) yesterday, Friday, January 10, 2025, after being reported missing . News that shocked the medical community and Mexican society.
According to information from various media outlets, her body was found a few hours after her family reported her absence to the authorities and search protocols were activated.
The Anesthesiology resident did not arrive to her scheduled activities for Friday, which set off alarms among her coworkers and blood relatives. According to the first reports of the case, Gallegos Zepeda left her home in the Santa María de la Ribera neighborhood, near downtown Mexico City, at 6:00 a.m. on January 10 , however, she did not show up for her classes or service.
